We have been working with Women on Boards CIC®, a UK-based community interest company (social enterprise) founded in 2023, focused on improving gender equality in leadership and board-level roles.

Their mission is to empower women, particularly entrepreneurs and emerging leaders, to access board positions and influence decision-making spaces.

They work at the intersection of leadership development, governance, and social impact, aligning their work with global frameworks such as the UN Sustainable Development Goals, especially gender equality and reducing inequalities.

In 2024, our CEO, Louise Adams, was invited to be a member of the Think Tank for Women on Boards. This was a space for women entrepreneurs and leaders to discuss the barriers to women progressing and leading in the workplace.

As part of this work, Louise became chair of one of three Steering Groups. Her group lead on education and the experiences of young people today and the barriers to supporting girls into entrepreneurship and leadership. The work of which went into the report (which is downloadable from the WOBCIC website) and launched at the House of Lords in September 2025.

The Report and Steering Group work has gone on to form the APPG (All-Party Parliamentary Group) which is looking at Equitable Governance. How businesses can incorporate equity into their companies to create benefits to all. The final impact being how can we look at RSE and gender conformity in education (This is likely to be further down the line).

Keep watching this space for more information on how we are utilising our skills and expertise from supporting with young people and bringing it to the big stage.
